The One Shot Distraction

Your challenges, obstacles, roadblocks, or potholes whatever they are, are uniquely yours, are always there, and they will never stop appearing. If you want to achieve your greatness, If you want to bring your dreams from the recess of your mind into reality, you will have to face and overcome any and all of the monkey wrenches or hurdles that come your way.

I love the game of basketball, one of the great things it teaches you is that your game is not over until that final buzzer goes off. How many times have you noticed that when a someone scores and they take to long in savoring the victory, and for that brief moment forgetting, that the game is still going on,  the challenger however is still pushing against them and at the other end a easy basket is made.

 And just like that they find themselves in the position of being behind again  and trying to catch up. Sometimes you may look at the scoreboard of your goals in life and feel the deficit is to much to overcome, remember the game is not over untill that final buzzer of your life goes off. 

Until then you must understand that everytime you achieve the realization of any aspect of your Vision, yes you can take a moment to savor it, but never get so caught up in that one shot that you let yourself fall behind and get distracted in your lifes mission…” Keith M. Dean (The Business of You)
