Let today be your day, let it be the day you find yourself standing at a vantage point surveying your life and knowing that you have been relentless in you quest for success. The famous aviator and author Charles Lindbergh wrote and I quote “Life is like a landscape. You live in the midst of it but can describe it only from the vantage point of distance.”
It is necessary for you, it is required of you, and it is a must that you from time to time take a step back to position yourself in such away, allowing for you to take the opportunity to comprehensively assess your present state.
As you begin to view and review how you got to where you are today you will see the stones that helped to give you a step up, a step up to seeing your dreams become closer to reality. You will also see those stones that you left unturned, and you may begin to imagine what if.
What if I just had done this, what if I had just done that, What if, What if? Understand something no matter what you have done, or where you are there will always be what ifs. Do not let the, what ifs pre-occupy your thoughts and distract your actions. Because if you do, you will become consumed in a past that you can no longer change, in a past that can never be the future because it is what is the past..
You have got to stay focused on your vision and stay committed to moving forward. Use the opportunity of this vantage point to gain a commanding perspective of what it is going to take for you to make tomorrow’s today better and brighter, each time it comes around.
Every second from where you are now takes you into the future, each second is as valuable as the next, and none of them should be wasted. Every individual second should have a defined purpose for your success, propelling you to the next second of reaching your goal. Use the information you gained from the vantage point to make every second count…..
